Class K44.8/99 33 (Locobase 13804)

Data from Christian Lindecke's [link] at [link], last accessed 31 January 2012, supplemented by Albert Gieseler's website at [link] . These two were delivered as part of the trio of LKM 225s, which first appeared in 1950 with saturated boilers. In 1961, the East German Railways' shop at Gorlitz modified the pair by fitting superheated boilers.

When the DDR converted to diesel, the 99 333 was scrapped. The 99 332 was preserved for static display at the BSderbahn Molli, a museum railroad in Mecklenberg-Western Pomerania. And the 99 331 is operational in a backup role.
