Mecklenburg-Pommern Schmalspurbahn 0-8-0 Locomotives in Germany

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class K44.3 / 99 3361 (Locobase 6538)

Data from Christian Lindecke's [] (visited 27 May 2005). Works numbers were 12894 and 13200.

It's only proper that the country that did the most to perfect the most widely used form of superheater should install it whenever possible. Even in this tiny 8-coupled working on 2-ft gauge, the superheater was ensuring that the MPSB would as wring as much power as possible out of the 4 small driver sets.

Eventually, this locomotive went clear across the Atlantic to La Porte County Historical Society's railroad in Michigan City, Michigan.
