Class LAG 84-86 /BR 98.17 (Locobase 9573)

Data from Wikipedia ([link], last accessed 28 September 2008), supplemented by [link], last accessed 12 May 2011.

The earlier 0-8-2T radial tanks in localbahn service (Locobase 6034 and 5814) were the source of this trio, but the later engines had slightly bigger boilers, taller drivers, and weighed more. They entered service in 1935 (84-85) and 1936 (86), survived World War II, and were only retired in 1960-1961.
