Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class P 1 (Locobase 15604)

Data from diagram No 57, Societe Alsacienne de Constructions Mecaniques from locomotive book supplied by Dany Machi up at [] as

Diagrammes des machines SACM construites a GRAFENSTADEN (October 2007).

For its time, which is likely to have been the 1870s, this six-wheeler had tall drivers and a tall stack. Its blocky plate frame with broken running board and closely spaced lead axle reflected typical design practice.

Identifying the exact class (P1.1, P1.2, or P1.3) required more information than Locobase could muster.
