Class 7 / 99.562 (Locobase 8050)

Data from [link], accessed 1 January 2007, supplemented by [link], last accessed 12 May 2011. Works numbers were 2008 in 1902 and 2652 in 1910.

The first of these two small Mallets went into service in 1902. Although small, the design proved adequate for the job and a second one was ordered in 1910.

For almost all of the next 40 years the two loks ran on the FKB. In 1949, that railway was absorbed by the newly formed East German Deutsche Reichsbahn and the two engines were renumbered 99 5621-5622. The first was retired in 1967, the latter in 1969.
