Data from "Rail Motor Coaches", The Railway Magazine, (15 September 1905), p.150. Works numbers were 4721-4722.

These rail-motor coaches showed a healthy turn of speed, hitting 46 mph in service. They were built to the design of the L B & SC's locomotive superintendent D E Marsh. The coaches had seating for 24 passengers in one of two compartments and between 16 and 24 passengers in the other.
