Class Brick (Locobase 21038)

Data from "Steam Ploughing Machinery and Traction Engines at the Kilburn [Agricultural ] Show- No. 11", Engineering, Volume 28, No 1 (4 July 1879), p. 3, 17. Works number 210 in December 1877.

One of the earliest Bagnall engines and one of the very smallest in Locobase, this was"altogether a very little engine suitable for its work". Its maximum height including chimney reached 4 ft 10 1/2 in, which meant the driver sat on a dropped footplate to allow his position to be roofed over.
