Fisher and Le Fanu 0-4-0 Locomotives in Great_Britain

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class Cashel (Locobase 10400)

Data from "A Narrow Gauge Contractor's Locomotive," The Locomotive Magazine, Vol IX (7 November 1903), p.268. Works number was 1003.

Weighing in a bit heavier than the Peckett catalog engine shown in Locobase 10381, this locomotive worked for the contractor as they built the Goold's Cross and Cashel Railway.

NB: The direct heating surface (including the firebox heating surface) is an estimate calculated by subtracting the calculated tube heating surface from the reported total evaporative heating surface.
