Data from Quote E.2578 card and photo, W G Bagnall, Ltd, Castle Engine Works, Stafford, archived in Historical Railway Images at [], last accessed 7 July 2022. Works numbers were 2824-2825 in 1946.
One of a series of Quote cards to be sent to prospective customers. The two delivered to the AIO in 1946 appear to be the only Bagnall radial pannier tanks with the cylinder dimensions, driver diameter, and gauge produced by Stafford. The illustration shows a high-mounted round-top boiler flanked by two rectangular-solid tank halves.
