Class 41 (Locobase 16049)

Data from "Passenger Engines, Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway", The Locomotive (15 December 1910), p. 272. Works numbers were 558-559 in 1856.

These were the last Jenny Lind single-wheelers(see Locobase 664 for a detailed description of this design) built for any railway. The 51 bore the name Will Shakespere.

They ran for nearly 30 years essentially as built before being scrapped in 1880-1883.
