Class 5ft 6-in tank (Locobase 2179)

These succeeded the 1879 Samson class 2-4-0 tank engines, adding a trailing truck with taller drivers, higher-pressure boiler. Their design was based on the Precursor 2-4-0s.

They remained in service until 1956.
