Data from Quote E.2313 card and photo, W G Bagnall, Ltd, Castle Engine Works, Stafford, archived in Historical Railway Images at [], last accessed 7 July 2022..Works numbers were 2313-2316 in November 1927.
One of a series of Quote cards to be sent to prospective customers. Metre-gauge Prairie goods tank with closely spaced drivers, trailing truck under the footplate and leading truck ahead of the smokebox, piston valves, and Belpaire firebox. Compared to the standard-gauge 0-8-0T goods tank (Locobase 21034), the big differences were less total weight and smaller grate.
