Attica Rwy 0-6-2 Locomotives in Greece

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class A1 & B5 (Locobase 1532)

Data from A E Durrant, Locomotives of Eastern Europe (New York: Augustus M Kelley, Publishers, 1966), pp 58, 60. See also [link], edited by Nick Sharounis and John Zartaloodes, shows two classes of 0-6-2Ts built in the same period (1885-1889) and by the same builder. Merte's construction list shows works numbers 583-584 in 1883, 602-603, 608, 610 in 1885; 631, 646 in 1886, 768 in 1889. (1114 in 1897 rolled on the same wheel arrangement.)

Lacking any other way to distinguish between them. Locobase assumed that the data (from AE Durrant, Eastern European Locomotives, 1966) applies to both the A1-A4 and B5-B9, particularly since the numbers are consecutive and not overlapping.
