Class 901 (Locobase 1519)

Data from A[nthony]E[dward] Durrant, The Locomotives of Eastern Europe (Newton Abbott: David & Charles, 1966), .

Oesterreich-Ungarien Staatseisenbahn-Ges (STEG) built ten--works numbers 4611-4620 in 1925 while Skoda supplied 30 locomotives.

Durrant wrote that the La class "proved a great success" and formed the backbone of freight traffic on the principal main lines.
