These small, slow 2-4-0s followed a different path from most Hungarian locomotives, remaining in private hands until after World War Two. The railroad name changed to Szeged-Csanádi vas+t (SzCsV) and later to Aradi Ts Csanádi egyesnlt vasutak in 1925.

Only in 1946 were the three engines taken into the MAV and redesignated 273.
