North Western Province 0-4-2 Locomotives in India

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class unknown (Locobase 20886)

Data from "Nasmyth's Centenary", Engineer, Volume 106 (25 September 1908), pp. 316.

The Engineer report included a photograph showing 30 years of progress in metre-gauge locomotive design. This was the earlier, quite small, tank engine. Some of the class were still in service in 1908, one of which headed passenger trains on the Rohilkund and Kumaon branch line to Lucknow.
