Data from "Two Interesting Kitson Locomotives," The Locomotive Magazine, Vol XIII (15 January 1907), pp. 14. Boiler pressure is an estimate.
This trio was produced for the Bombay-Kalyan passenger service on the GIPR, on which it served for 30 years. In 1886, the GIPR sold the 18 to the Indian Midland Railway, which used it in local service and for shunting (switching).
