Data from E L Ahrons, The British Railway Locomotive, 1825-1925 (London: Locomotive Publishing Company, 1926).
Features included Belpaire boilers, inside cylinders driving half-crank axles. (Used widely in US locomotives, a half-crank had its throw very near one driver side with the web of the driver comprising one of the shoulders of the crank.) Railroad later formed the metre-gauge section of the Bombay, Baroda, & Central Indian Railway.
