Class 2 (Locobase 10593)

Data from "Industrial Railways" reproduced in Mike's Railway History - Railways as they were in th e years until 1935, [link], last accessed 28 June 2009.

Owned by Arthur Guinness, this 2-mile broad-gauge railway served the Bass and Guiness breweries in Dublin. Much of the motive power and rolling stock was narrow-gauge, but there was a need to connect with the Irish main line. Consequently, the railway bought these two saddle-tanks and, because they ran through the streets, fitted them with boxy skirts to hide the moving parts.

They served the railway until 1965 and #3 was preserved.
