Ballymena & Larne 0-6-0 Locomotives in Ireland

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class Q (Locobase 10225)

Data from "Narrow-Gauge Locomotives of the Belfast and Northern Counties RY," The Locomotive Magazine, Vol VII (May 1902), p. 92. Boiler pressure is an estimate. Works numbers were 1700-1701.

With the first of the two 2-4-0Ts from BP (Locobase 10224), the B & L also received these two more powerful goods engines. Both were taken into the Belfast & Northern Counties in 1889 where they were renumbered twice. 107 was scrapped in December 1931, 106 i 1933.
