Data from the US Military Railway Service's Equipment Data Book for Italian Locomotives supplied in May 2005 by Allen Stanley from his extensive Rail Data Exchange. [link] shows that the octet was delivered over the course of 4 years.

Likely of English origin (most of the measurements are ft-in-sq ft). Outfitted with a very tall and slender tapered stack and a canopy over the footplate. Rated at 150 hp at 15 mph (24 km/h) and generating 3,520 lb (1,560 kg) steam per hour.
