Class unknown (Locobase 15552)

Data from Dr. R. Sanzin, "Die Lokomotiven auf der Intertionalen Austellung in Mailand 1906, 35. 2/2 gekuppelte Tenderlokomotive der Societa anonima Verona-Caprino-Garda ...", Zeitschrift des Oesterreichischen Ingenieur- und Architeckten-Vereines, Vol LIX, Nr. 13 (29 March 1907), p 228.

The only tram locomotive (usually called a "steam dummy" in North America) to appear at the Milan Exposition of 1906 was this typical example of the type. Its horizontal boiler was shrouded by high side panels and a permanent (but unglazed) canopy through which the stack poked its muzzle.

Tramways in Bologna, Parma, Piacenza, and Vicenza adopted this locomotive. it was rated to pull 47 trailing tons at 10 km/h (6.2 mph), 39 tons at 16 km/h (10 mph), and 14 tons at 40 km/h (24.8 mph).
