Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 19, p. 254 . See also "JGR Class 5060" in Steam Locomotives, Locomotive Wiki at [link], last accessed 21 January 2024.. Works number was 14239 in June 1895.

Double-ender passenger engine delivered as a Vauclain compound with 8" (203 mm) piston valves.

Based on the Locomotive Wiki description, this locomotive remained a compound until its retirement in 1919.
