Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 30, p. 229. See also Noe Aguilar Rivera, La Agroindustria de la Caña de Azúcar en "La Huasteca" San Luís Potosí México/Sugar Cane Agroindustry from "La Huasteca" San Luis Potosí México (Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí Mexico) at [], last accessed 5 October 2025. Works number 30753 in May 1907.
Another little wood-burning saddle tank, this one served one of the first sugar-cane refineries in San Luis Potosi State in Mexico. Its specification required the engine to be able to haul "270 tons of cars and lading on practically level track."
Sugar was then the leading agricultural product in the state and continued to be into at least the third decade of the 21st century.
