Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class Rosa (Locobase 13644)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 25, p. 238. Works number was 34117 in December 1909.

A tiny plantation Mogul ordered by Juan Perez for this very skinny gauge railroad located in the municipality of Izúcar de Matamoros in Puebla State. The line, which consisted of an11 km of railway between Tatetla Station and Campos de Cana--operated entirely within the plantation Hacienda Tatetla. It opened in 1905 and closed in 1955. Its closure likely ended Rosa's active service.

See Locobase 13723 for an identical engine sold to the Ingenio Calipam in the same year.
