Locobase 12662 showed the little wood-burning Mogul served the Yucatan for over four decades beginning in 1904. In 1908 the MaP was taken into the Unidos de Yucqtan and the Catalina was renumbered 62.
Twenty years later, the 75-78 are described in the 1928 specifications as "exact duplicates of 8 20 D 115, except where otherwise specified." So although they were ordered 24 years after the original engine, they repeated every dimension, but added two tons to the adhesion weight and 2 1/2 tons to the engine weight.
The newer engines also burned oil in a larger tender that held 3,000 US gallons of water and 1,580 gallons of thick crude (12 degrees Baume). Tender empty weight was about 33,000 lb (14,969 kg) and loaded weight rose to 69,000 lb (31,298 kg).
The 62 was scrapped in 1948. 75 and 79 were retired in 1962. The other three were sold to the Unidos de Sureste and renumbered 261-263. Of these, the 260 was sold in February 1969 to the Disney Corporation, renamed Lilly Belle, renumbered 2, and rebuilt in 1971 for operation at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA.
