Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 1 (Locobase 12203)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 20, pp 66 and 143 Works numbers were 14909-14910 in June 1896 and 24812 in November 1904.

Notwithstanding all of its peculiar virtues, a Consolidation of this size and power was pretty common on the narrow gauge and particularly in Mexico. The I & M (later extended to Nijini) was a 3-ft shortline that included 11 stops in its 28 1/4-mile length.
