See Locobase 12359 for an account of the Parral y Durango. This typical 3-ft gauge, wood-burning cabbage-stacked Consolidation enhanced the motive power of this mining railroad. Baldwin's specification mentioned ruling grades of 2% and 3 1/2%.

At some later date, it was sold to the Ingenio El Potrero as their #8.
