Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 22, p. 62. Works number was 16524 in February 1899.

The Potosi had curves with radii as sharp as 14 deg (82 metres; 269 ft) for this little wood-burning Consolidation to traverse. The specs also called for the #1 to haul 625 long tons up a 1/2% grade, 125 tons up a 3% grade.
