ndem 4-6-4 Locomotives in Mexico

The National Railway of Mexico bought ten Hudsons from the American Locomotive Company in 1937. They were designated Class NR-1 and assigned road numbers 2700 through 2709. These locomotives had 25 x 28 cylinders, 73" drvers, a boiler pressure of 200 psi, a tractive effort of 40,700 lbs and weighed 292,000 pounds. There is one survivng Class NR-1 Hudson, number 2708, on display in the City Park in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes.
