Class 101 (Locobase 11171)

Data from WJK Davies, in his Light Railways of the First World War (New York: Reprints of Economic Classics, 1968) , [link], the Welsh Highlands Railway site and DeGolyer, Vol 57, pp. 92+. Railway information from [link], last accessed 8 February 2010. Works numbers were 41897-41902 in February 1915, 44178-44182 in September, and 51569-51573 in March 1919.

Baldwin's run of hundreds of 60-cm 4-6-0Ts for the War Department Light Railways (see Locobase 4985) ended in January 1918. Bookending this long run was a pair of order for the French High Commission for its Casablanca-Ouidja railway in Morocco. After World War One, the FHC bought five more.
