Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class Class 17 (Locobase 20784)

Data from L Derens"The Dutch Rhenish Railway and Its Locomotives"," The Locomotive Magazine, Volume XXVI [26] (15 October 1920), pp. 228-229. Works numbers were 2938-2942 in 1881.

These little saddle tanks managed to tuck a Belpaire firebox under the water tank. The tank extended from the bunker to the smokebox, splitting around the stack. Works 2342 was lost at sea before delivery.
