Originally built for the Maatschappij tot Exploitatie van Staatsspoorwegen [SS] (70) and the Noord-Brabantsch-Duitsche Spoorweg-Maatschappij [NBDS] (5) between 1865 and 1873.

These were taken into the State railway. The last left NSB service in 1933.
