Class Trujillo (Locobase 12612)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 24, p.282. Works number was 20510 in May 1902.

The railway on which this little locomotive ran bore the name of the coastal city that anchored the line about 400 miles up the coast from Lima. The 9 was later sold to the Hacienda Roma, a vast sugar plantation owned by Victor Larco Herrera not far from Trujillo.

Still later, the Hacienda Roma sold the engine to the Sociedad Agricola Pucala.
