Iquique 0-6-0 Locomotives in Peru

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 26 (Locobase 16118)

Data from "Fairlie Engines", Engineering, Volume , (14 December 1877), pp. 462-463.

A letter from Beyer, Peacock supplied the data for the Sharp, Stewart tanks to support its contention that the Fairlies that arrived at nearly the same time (see Locobase 14821) simply weren't as good. They were hard on tires, no more powerful on the grades, and maintenance hogs.
