Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 66, pp. 175. Works number was 57093 in September 1923.

This large sugar producer was based in the Pativilca Valley in Chancay Province in the Department of Lima. The company was given permission to build a narrow-gauge railway along the coast south about 8 miles (12.9 km) from the Paramonga hacienda across the Pativilca River to the port of Supe. Supe lies about 175 km (109 miles) up the coast from Lima.
