Data from "A German Built Locomotive for a Russian Railway," The Locomotive Magazine, Vol VIII (7 Feb 1903), p. 100. Works numbers 583-604.
This was a rugged and relatively large 6-coupled goods engine that had a full cab (with two arched windows on each side), straight boiler, sandbox just ahead of the middle, driving axle, tal dome with "coolie-hat" top, and inversely tapered stack (chimney) that held spark-arresting gear.
