Rjasan-Uralsk 2-6-0 Locomotives in Russia

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class unknown (Locobase 12809)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 18, p. 44. Works numbers were 12774-12777 in June 1892.

The only information Locobase can turn up on this quartet of metre-gauge Moguls is that they were rated to pull 200-210 tons up a 1% grade and 250-260 tons up a 0.8% grade.

The DeGolyer Library's Class List shows the class was originally ordered by H M Bary. The DeGolyer collection's list of Erecting Diagrams indicates that this was only a proposal even though works numbers were assigned.
