Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class Ga (Locobase 3222)

Data from Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen's Magazine, Volume 38 (June 1905), p. 787. Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 21, p. 207.. Works numbers were 15990-16009.

Upright Vauclain compound very similar to Alsacienne engines shipped to the MVR at about the same time. Except for enlarging the HP cylinders by 1/2" (12.7 mm), the engines were duplicates of the earlier batches sent to the Vladicaucase (Locobase 12173) and Russian South Eastern (Locobase 12265)

Class unknown (Locobase 1475)

Data and information from Reder (1974, p 208), supplemented by diagram No 119, Elsassische Maschinenbau AG from SACM locomotive book supplied by Dany Machi up at [link] as

Diagrammes des machines SACM construites a GRAFENSTADEN (October 2007). sheet 119

A tandem-compound design with the usual arrangement of HP cylinder leading the LP cylinder, both being fed by the same long valve. The straight boiler was led by an impressive cabbage stack. Tube diameter is from the fire side; water side diameter probably measured 50 mm.
