Class 1 (Locobase 7265)

Data from a table in Walter Hefti's Dampf Strassebahn Locomotives in Welt (colaboracion de Don Enrique Andres Gramaje), presented by Gustavo Vieites Brignolo, website editor of es.geocities.com/gustavovieites1/materialrodantef.html (accessed 8 December 2005). This website covers COMPANIAS DE TRANVIAS DE MADRID. For some reason, the table doesn't have weights.

This O & K nonet was delivered in small batches -- works #1171-72, 1394-95, 1523-1527 -- and ran on the CUATRO CAMINOS-FUENCARRAL-COLMENAR VIEJO, a line with an offbeat gauge of 1,445 mm, so close to the standard gauge that Locobase wonders why the builders bothered with the extra 0.4". The line covered a total of 0.52 km (0.33 statute miles or about 568 yards). As on most tram locomotives, a roof covered the entire vehicle except for a hole left for the stack.
