The Ferrocarril de Soller was built on the island of Mallorca between Palma and Soller. It soon became known as El ferrocarril de los Turistas. [] says that this little engine (Falcon works number 198) was originally procured by the Tranvias de Palma as a tram engine. As such it was fully enclosed with boxed-in running gear. When construction began on the FC Soller in June 1907, the contractor -- Luis Bobio -- bought the Maria Luisa as a construction engine.
