, the web site of the Spanish National Railway (19 Mar 2004). Works numbers were 2521-2522.

These two engines were purchased to help with the construction of the FC de B A, a 177-km (110-mile) railway that connected the Algeciras-Gibraltar Railway Limited with the British-owned Rock of Gibraltar itself. Once construction was completed, only the 20 (works 2522) was retained by the railway.

It endured for decades sporting a saddle tank of unusual shape. The top of the tank was flat, the sides slighly concave, and the bottoms closed in above the axles' external spring hangers.

When the Bobadilla came under Andaluces control in 1913, 20 continued pulling small goods trains along its original route and shunted (switched) in the Algeciras yards. RENFE's stand-up in 1941 led to the 20's class designation as shown in the specs, but its duties remained unchanged into the 70s.

As for the other (works 2521), it was sold to the industrial concern Sociedad Hullera Vasco Leonesa and named Olabarri.
