CG de Asfaltos y Portland 0-8-2 Locomotives in Spain

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 041-0201 (Locobase 5510)

Data from [link], the web site of the Spanish National Railway (21 April 2003) and [link] (28 April 2003), which has the diagrama with all dimensions and weights.

This may be the single Spanish locomotive with this wheel arrangement; it was derived from the 0-8-0Ts that were delivered to Asland 4 years earlier (Locobase 5520).

. It seems to have been the only one taken into RENFE in 1941. There don't seem to have been many 0-8-2 tanks anywhere. A photo shows it to have been a stubby engine with a short wheelbase for the drivers and considerable overhang at both ends.
