Increasing traffic on the SFG after World War One led the railway to return to Krauss for a longer version of the little tanks they'd been running since before the turn of the century (Locobase 13462). The drivers were smaller, the cylinders "oversquare" (diameter greater than stroke), and pressure higher. Both the tractive effort and the engine's weight increased.
After the Spanish Civil War broke out in 1936, both were sent to the Bajo Ampurdan tramway, but that line was too curvy and light for the longer wheelbases of these 5-axle tanks.
A decade later, they were put up for sale and bought by the Empresa Fabrica de Mieres SA of Asturias, which renovated both in 1954-1955.
In the mid-1960s, both were sold to UNINSA. 12 had the rods connecting the 3rd and 4th driven axles and thus became an 0-6-4T. Both were soon withdrawn.
