Class 21/130-2091 (Locobase 5523)

Data from [link], the web site of the Spanish National Railway.(21 April 2003). Justo Arenillas in "Las locomotoras belgas en el Madrid-Caceres-Portugal", Lineas Del Tren (as reproduced on [link], viewed 28 April 2003)

Arenillas commented that the design, although possessing small drivers to scale the steep grades that left the port of Escandon between Sagunto and Teruel, would be better regarded as mixed-traffic machines rather than purely freight engines.

Arenillas also observed that the look of these Belgian Moguls was "completely different, strange enough, and as a result much less elegant than the British Moguls" bought by other railroads capitalized by British money (the Lorca-Baza-Aguilas, Bobadilla-Algeciras, or the Santiago-Pontevedra & Carril).
