According to [] (confirmed 14 May 2003), after the Ferrocarril de Soller (built on the island of Mallorca between Palma and Soller) began construction in 1907, its management soon purchased these Mogul tanks under a contract with MTM (works numbers 60-65). Each locomotive cost 43,000 pesetas. Names were Soller (1), Palma (2), Bunyola (3) and Son Sardina (4).
When the Soller was electrified in 1929, this quartet was mothballed for 15 years when the Mallorca Railway bought them.
