Four railroads bought locomotives of this exact design. Medina a Zamora y de Orense a Vigo (Oeste) obtained four (MTM works numbers 147, 149, 152, 163 in 1923), FC Estado 2, Alcaniz a Puebla de Hijar 1. and Murcia a Mula y Caravaca 1.

NB: RENFE's 1947 diagram shows the exterior diameter of the 143 small tubes and 22 large tubes, but gives the following heating surface areas based on the tubes' interior diameters: tubes and flues , 143.20 sq m (1,636 sq ft) and, including firebox area, 156.70 sq m (1,687 sq ft).
