Data from Litt WJ, one of a series of SJ locomotive diagrams archived by Anders Lundbing on [], last accessed 10 June 2017 (Snabcon AB advertised its tools for mounting RJ45 connectors on bundled cables.) and Olavia Hokas's Swedish Steam website at [

Nilsson's account of this small tank engine class includes a Google-translated phrase describing them as a "smaller, splendid, and slightly [sic] beautiful locomotive." And, he adds, although no more were built, the quintet provided service on local traffic around Gothenburg, Falköping, Pites, Filipstad and Karlskrona.
1231 was the first to be withdrawn in 1953, followed by 1228 in 1959, and the rest in 1963. 1229 was donated in 1964 to the Swedish Railway Museum. In 1971, it was transferred to Lund. It later spent time at GSvle (2006-2008), NynSs (2011), and Angelholm (2014).
