Dalslands 4-6-0 Locomotives in Sweden

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class H3/A7 (Locobase 20216)

Data from Litt-A7, one of a series of SJ locomotive diagrams archived by Anders Lundbing on [link], last accessed 10 June 2017 (Snabcon AB advertised its tools for mounting RJ45 connectors on bundled cables.) Works number was 1041 in 1914.

Locobase 20215 shows the P7 variant of a Swedish 4-6-0. Its differences from several other batches (more and longer tubes, longer flues, a valve gear variant) were repeated in this pair of Ten-wheelers. Piston valve diameter increased to 220 mm (8.66").

(NB: Locobase's specifications show the evaporative heating surface area using the tubes' outer diameter (i.e., the water side).
