Data from Baldwin Logging Locomotives, p. 4. See also DeGolyer, Volume 30, p. 247. Works number was 30867 in May 1907.
Marsh & Loomis were based in Hertford, North Carolina. Like many other locomotives, this tiny skinny-gauge tank's boiler was jacketed in "Russia iron"--(see Locobase 11179 for a description of this 19th century technique for protecting a boiler.)
